Yves Rocher: 7th April 1930 - 26th December 2009

A man ahead of his time, Yves Rocher built a business selling "green" health and beauty products by mail order long before the advent of the internet and the eco revolution.

Christopher Cazenove: 17th December 1943 - 7th April 2010

Diagnosed with septicaemia at the end of February, he spent more than a month in Intensive Care before finally succumbing to the disease.

Most obituaries state that he was best known for his role as Ben Carrington in Dynasty (1986/87). That may well be the case in America, but he was familiar long before that to UK audiences, due to such roles as: Lt Richard Gaunt in The Regiment (1972/73); George Cornwallis-West in Jennie: Lady Randolph Churchill (1974); and Charles Haslemere in The Duchess of Duke Street (1976/77).

Brian (Dusty) Fogg. I had two close friends whilst serving in HM Lifeguards and Brian was one of them.

We shared quite a few adventures together and I have nothing but good memories of Brian and his wife Carol.

I received a message telling me that Brian died in the early hours of Thursday morning. He was 55.
He had cancer of the oesophagus, which then spread into his liver and then his lungs.

My sincere sympathies go to Carol, Simon and all of Brian's family.

ALEX "HURRICANE" HIGGINS 61- 1949--2010

he was the first real entertainer in the game of snooker sometimes controversial but always watchable, he had been battling the big c for about 10 years,

he liked a drink or 10, was a chain smoker and ended up in the odd fight, so though his lifestyle probabaly didn't help, he certainly enjoyed himself,

A brilliant actor. Benidorm will not be the same without Mel and his speedos.
